Ingredients

Potato Peranakan Style

  • 4 nos U.S Russet Potatoes
  • ½ tsp Cumin powder
  • ½ tsp Curry powder
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • ¾ tsp Black Pepper
  • 5gm Coriander Chopped
  • 10ml Cooking Oil

Chili Garam Dip

  • 50gm Red chili (Blend)
  • 50gm Red onion (Blend)
  • 20gm Ginger (Blend)
  • 20gm Garlic (Blend)
  • 20gm Belacan (Shrimp paste)
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • ¾ tsp Black Pepper
  • 5ml Lime Juice
  • 10ml Cooking Oil

Garnish

  • 10gm Dried Anchovies
  • 5gm Chile red (Slice)
  • 5gm Spring Onion (Slice)

Preparation
Prep Time: 15min | Cook Time: 30min

  1. First peel off the U.S. Russet potato skin. Next cut the U.S. Russet potato into 8 potato wedges. Then put the U.S.potato wedges inside the mixing bowl. Mix all the ingredients with the U.S. potato wedges.
  2. Pre heat air fryer at 180 Celsius, cooking time 30 minutes. Once the air fryer is ready, transfer the marinated U.S. potato wedges inside the air fryer. Start the cooking process now.
  3. Prepare to blend the ingredients for the Chili Garam dip. Pre heat a medium size cooking pan and add cooking oil. Sautee the ingredient for around 10-15 minutes or until its fragrant and finally cooked.
  4. Once the peranankan style U.S. potato wedges is cooked , transfer it at the serving plate together with the “Chili Garam Dip”.
