Description

Indulge in the irresistible Miso Honey Glazed Smashed U.S. Potatoes, featuring a sweet miso and honey blend, baked to perfection and garnished with sesame seeds for a delightful crunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 nos U.S. Russet Potatoes (medium sized,washed)
  • 2 tablespoons Miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Cut the U.S. Russet Potatoes into large pieces. Place them in a pot of water and bring to a boil. Cook until the potatoes are fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. While the U.S. Russet potatoes are boiling, prepare the glaze. In a bowl, whisk together miso paste, honey, and olive oil.
  4. Drain the cooked potatoes and let them cool slightly. Place each potato on a baking sheet and gently smash it with a fork or the base of a mug.
  5. Brush the miso honey glaze generously over each smashed potato.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are crispy and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish.
  8. Serve it hot.
