Crispy Chinese “Salt and Pepper” Baked U.S. lattice fries with crispy anchovies.


  • 500gm U.S. Frozen Lattice Fries
  • 50gm Silver anchovies (Deep fried or baked)
  • 5gm White Pepper
  • 5gm Chili flakes
  • 5gm 5 Spice powder
  • 5gm Garlic powder
  • 5gm Ginger powder
  • 5gm Chicken powder
  • 10gm Spring Onion (Chopped)


  1. Preheat the oven to 356°F (180°C). Bake the U.S. lattice fries for 10 minutes. Removed the cooked U.S. lattice fries from the oven and transfer into medium size mixing bowl.
  2. Tossed the U.S. lattice fries with the white pepper, chili flakes, 5 spice powder, garlic powder, ginger powder and chicken powder.
  3. Transfer into a serving bowl for serving. Sprinkle and garnish with deep dried anchovies and spring onion.
