Deep fried Potato seaweed Cheese stick served with peanut butter honey dip with sesame seed

Ingredients

  • 400gm Dehydrated U.S. Potato Granules
  • 200ml Fresh milk
  • 100gm Potato Starch
  • 50gm Cheddar Cheese
  • 50gm Dry Seaweed

  • 5gm Pepper
  • 2gm Sesame seed (Toasted)
+

Peanut butter Honey Dip

  • 80gm Peanut Butter
  • 20gm Honey
  • 10ml Fresh milk
  • 2ml Sesame Oil

Preparation

  1. Prepare a medium size bowl to prepare the Peanut Butter Honey Dip. Add the peanut butter, fresh milk, honey and sesame oil. Mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Preheat a medium size stock pot and add 200ml fresh milk to boil. Next add the dehydrated U.S. potato granules and mix well with the milk till you get a fluffy mashed potato. Then add the potato starch, cheddar cheese, dry seaweed, salt & pepper and mix well to give you the U.S. potato cheese mixture.
  3. Prepare a piping bag and fill it with the U.S. potato cheese mixture. Squeeze the piping bag and create a long stick shape around 7inch or 20cm long. Keep all the uncooked stick inside the freezer for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat a medium size nonstick pan with cooking oil. Fill at least half of the pan. Once the oil is hot (180°C), slowly add the U.S. potato cheese stick and cook for at least 4 minutes or it turns golden brown. Keep it aside and drain the excess oil.
  5. Transfer the U.S. potato cheese sticks onto a serving plate and serve together with the Peanut butter honey sauce. Sprinkle and garnish with sesame seed.
