Description

Crispy U.S. lattice-cut fries, coated in a rich, sweet soy glaze that blends savory and sweet Korean flavors. Garnished with sesame seeds and green onions, this dish is perfect as a side or snack, offering a delightful taste in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 300gm U.S. lattice-cut fries
  • 20gm Vegetable oil
  • 40ml Soya Sauce
  • 30ml Honey
  • 15ml Rice Vinegar
  • 5ml sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5gm grated ginger
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Chopped spring onions, for garnish
  • 1 no Grilled smoked chicken sausages for topping

Preparation

  1. Fry the U.S. lattice cut fries
    – In an air fryer, heat up to 180˚C, add in U.S. lattice cut fries, sprinkle some oil & fry until golden brown
  2. Make the Glaze:
    – In the pan, reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic and grated ginger. SautĆ© for about 1 minute until fragrant.
    – Add soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Stir well and let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Combine and Serve:
    – Return the fried U.S. lattice cut potatoes to the skillet, tossing them gently to coat evenly with the glaze.
    – Cook for another 1-2 minutes, ensuring the potatoes are well-coated and heated through.
    – Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with Smoked Chicken Sausage, sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
