Description

Indulge in the irresistible layers of flavor with our Mala U.S. Potatoes Gratin Stacks featuring 'Lao Gan Ma' chili Oil, fermented beancurd, and melted mozzarella cheese, creating a delightful twist to your traditional potato experience.

Ingredients

  • 4 nos U.S. Russet potatoes (medium size, peeled and thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons "Lao Gan Ma" chilli Oil
  • 2 cubes Fermented beancurd
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper
  • 1 cup Low-fat mozzarella cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C. In a mixing bowl, prepare the marinade by combining the “Lao Gan Ma” chilli Oil, fermented beancurd, salt, and white pepper until well mixed.
  2. Place the thinly sliced U.S. Russet potatoes in another large mixing bowl. Pour the marinade over the potatoes and toss with hands until the slices are evenly coated.
  3. In a muffin tin, stack the marinated U.S. potato slices until it is half-filled. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese on top of the stacked potatoes. Continue stacking with the remaining potato slices until the muffin tin is fully filled.
  4. Cover the muffin tin with aluminum foil and transfer it to the oven. Bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove the aluminum foil and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the potato stacks. Return the tin to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese on top is melted and golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve hot!
